The energy gaze in pregnancy!

Ceremonies hold a sacred place in my approach to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. These intentional rituals allow us to slow down, deeply connect with our inner selves, and bond with our babies before they arrive. Through focused energy work, we prepare the body, mind, and spirit for the transformative journey of motherhood. Each ceremony serves as a powerful reminder of your strength, intuition, and the divine energy flowing within you during this sacred time.

I offer a variety of pregnancy and postpartum ceremonies, each crafted with care and rooted in ancestral wisdom to honor your unique journey:

Mama Blessing Ritual
The Mama Blessing Ritual is a cherished ceremony that opens the birth portal, inviting the pregnant woman’s closest friends and family to gather in a heartfelt afternoon of celebration and support. Together, we create a space filled with love and intention, honoring the journey into motherhood. This ceremony includes a foot soak, herbal treatments, a cacao circle, belly drawing, meditation, and meaningful blessings for the mother, baby, and family. It’s a sacred moment of connection, preparation, and empowerment for the path ahead, usually lasting about three hours.

Closing Ritual with Rebozo

This deeply intimate ceremony is inspired by the Mexican tradition of "closing the bones" after birth, symbolizing a healing transition. Often a private experience between the mother and me, it may also include the mother’s own mother upon request. The ritual includes drinking ceremonial cacao, massage, a healing bath, and gentle bone closures using a rebozo. As an experienced energy worker, I create a space for deep meditation, allowing the mother to access her Akashic records, close open cycles, and embrace the next chapter.

Though called a closing ceremony, this ritual can feel like an opening, marking a new phase in life’s cycle. I recommend it at least 40 days postpartum; however, it can be sought at any time—even years after becoming a mother or for those who have experienced miscarriage or abortion. Each ceremony lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

The Burning of the PlacentaFor births that have involved complications, I offer the Burning of the Placenta ceremony as a way to transmute and heal through the element of fire. This ritual serves as a release for the family, allowing them to let go of any emotional weight carried from the birth experience. It becomes a sacred moment of closure, honoring the placenta’s role without the need for consumption. The ceremony takes approximately 2 hours, though the placenta may require additional time to burn completely. If desired, I can send the ashes to the family once the process is complete.

Ceremonies remind us of the power and importance of ritual in our lives. They offer moments to pause, reflect, and honor the sacredness of each experience. Whether marking a life transition, seeking closure, or deepening our connection with ourselves and loved ones, these ceremonies create a pathway to healing, empowerment, and spiritual alignment. Embrace the opportunity to honor your journey through intentional, sacred rituals.

Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted a doula by my side, especially during childbirth. Fernanda was the right choice, exceeding my expectations. She demonstrated theoretical and practical knowledge and gave me 100% of the support I needed. Fernanda advocated for me with the medical team and also supported my partner. It was the best investment I could make.

Mariana Wiltshire

Fernanda was our doula and alchemical guardian of our placenta. She brought me the capsules, tincture of placenta and an enchanted little drum for our baby. In pregnancy a soap with healing herbs and herbs for vaporizing the uterus. I also did the rebozo closing ritual with her and it was wonderful. Fern brings good information, security and good laughs in moments of relaxation. I highly recommend her!

Yasmin Flores

My husband and I attended the pregnancy and birth course gave by Fern. I absolutely recommend it! She has a huge knowledge so it was very informative, giving us insights and support to prepare the birth plan and for the birth itself.
