In this module, you’ll learn how to support common issues such as nausea, heartburn, swelling, and fatigue through gentle, effective herbal remedies that bring comfort and balance to both body and mind. Birth & Its Process
Herbs can play a supportive role during labor to aid the natural birth process. From managing contractions to alleviating discomfort and providing emotional grounding, this module covers herbal techniques that support birthing women through each stage. Topics include herbs for progressing labor, managing stress or anxiety, and handling moments when labor seems to stall. You’ll leave with tools to nurture and empower women throughout this sacred event.

Postpartum Care & Recovery
The postpartum period is a time of recovery, bonding, and transformation. Learn how to support mothers’ healing with herbs that nourish, soothe, and promote balance after birth. Topics include herbal remedies for physical recovery, supporting milk production, easing emotional shifts, and rituals to honor this new phase. This module empowers you to guide mothers in restoring their vitality and finding peace in their postpartum journey.

Who is this training for?
This training is designed for doulas, midwives, birth professionals, and wellness practitioners who want to deepen their knowledge of natural, plant-based care. Whether you’re new to herbalism or experienced with herbs, this course offers insights and skills to support women holistically through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Do I need prior herbal knowledge to attend?  
No prior herbal knowledge is required. This training is open to all levels, from beginners to those with herbal experience looking to refine their skills in maternal care. We’ll cover foundational concepts and dive into practical applications, so everyone feels confident and empowered.

What materials are included in the training?
All participants receive a comprehensive guide to the herbs covered, including safe dosages, preparation methods, and specific applications for each stage of motherhood.

Is this training certified? 
I don’t typically focus on certifications, as I view them as a colonial practice. However, for those who would like a certificate of completion, I’m happy to provide one.

Will I learn how to make herbal remedies?
Yes! This training includes hands-on sessions where you’ll learn how to prepare various herbal remedies, such as teas, tinctures, and balms, tailored to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. You’ll leave with practical skills to create custom remedies for your clients.

Can I use these herbal skills immediately in my practice?
Absolutely. The training equips you with practical, safe techniques and remedies you can integrate right away to support women holistically. You’ll have the knowledge and confidence to use these tools in real-life settings.

How long is the training?  
The training is divided into 4 in-depth modules, allowing you to explore each stage of herbal care at your own pace. We are currently deciding whether to offer this as an in-person training or online course, so participants have flexibility in completing the modules and integrating the knowledge into their practice.

Will there be follow-up resources or support? 
Yes, you’ll have access to additional resources and a supportive community where you can ask questions, share experiences, and deepen your herbal knowledge even after the training.
