Celebrating every step of the way!
Ceremony is one of the oldest and most beautiful ways we honor life’s transitions. Across cultures and generations, rites of passage have always been moments where we gather, celebrate, and witness one another stepping into a new chapter. They remind us that these thresholds — becoming a mother, welcoming a child, committing to a partner — deserve to be marked with joy, intention, and community.
In my work, ceremonies are heartfelt celebrations of these sacred moments. They are an invitation to pause, to feel, to laugh, to connect, and to honor the profound transformations happening in our lives. Instead of rushing through these milestones, we create space to truly celebrate them — surrounded by meaning, beauty, and the people who hold us.
Mama Blessing Ritual
The Mama Blessing Ritual is a cherished ceremony that opens the birth portal, inviting the pregnant woman’s closest friends and family to gather in a heartfelt afternoon of celebration and support.

Naming Ceremony
This is a beautiful way to welcome a baby into the world and into the loving circle of family and friends. It is a moment to introduce the child’s name, share its meaning, and celebrate the arrival of this new life.
Through simple rituals and heartfelt intentions, loved ones gather to honor the baby and mark the beginning of their journey within the community.
Handfasting
This is an ancient tradition that symbolizes the union of two lives and the commitment to walk together as partners. Rooted in Celtic customs, the ritual involves gently binding the couple’s hands with ribbons or cords, representing the weaving together of their paths, intentions, and hearts.
Today, handfasting remains a beautiful and meaningful way to celebrate love, commitment, and the beginning of a shared journey.

Closing Ritual with Rebozo
This deeply intimate ceremony is inspired by the Mexican tradition of "closing the bones" after birth, symbolizing a healing transition.
Though called a closing ceremony, this ritual can feel like an opening, marking a new phase in life’s cycle.
Every ceremony I create is deeply personal and thoughtfully crafted. Drawing from ancestral traditions, nature, symbolism, and the unique energy of each family or couple, we co-create an experience that reflects your values, your story, and the spirit of the moment you are stepping into.
Ceremonies remind us of the power and beauty of ritual in our lives. They invite us to pause, to reflect, and to truly honor the sacredness of the transitions we are living. Whether marking a new beginning, welcoming a child, celebrating a union, or simply acknowledging a meaningful shift in life, these rituals create space for connection, healing, empowerment, and deep spiritual alignment.
Because life’s most profound transitions are not meant to pass quietly.
They are meant to be celebrated, witnessed, and remembered.
Through intentional, sacred ritual, we honor the journey — and the person you are becoming within it.
Frequently asked questions
What types of ceremonies do you offer?
I currently facilitate Women’s Circles, Mama Blessings, Naming Ceremonies, Handfasting Ceremonies, and Closing the Bones with Rebozo. Each one honors a different moment of life — from welcoming new beginnings to celebrating love, community, and personal transitions.
Are the ceremonies religious?
No. The ceremonies are not tied to any specific religion. They are created to be inclusive and adaptable, allowing the language, symbols, and rituals to reflect your personal beliefs, culture, and values.
Can ceremonies be personalized?
Yes, every ceremony is created together with you. We can include readings, symbolic rituals, personal vows, or other meaningful elements that reflect your story and the intention behind the gathering.
Where do the ceremonies take place?
Most ceremonies take place in your home, in nature, or in a venue that you choose. The only ceremony that takes place in my own space in Rotterdam is Closing the Bones with Rebozo.
How far in advance should ceremonies be booked?
Women’s circles are usually booked about three weeks in advance.
For Naming Ceremonies, Handfasting, and Mama Blessings, it is recommended to book at least two months in advance so we have time to thoughtfully prepare the ceremony.
Do participants need previous experience with ceremonies or rituals?
Not at all. The ceremonies are designed to be welcoming and accessible to everyone, whether this is your first experience with a ritual gathering or something you are already familiar with.
In which language can ceremonies be held?
Ceremonies can be held in English, Portuguese, or a mix of both, depending on what feels most comfortable for you and your guests.
How can I book a ceremony?
You can reach out through the contact form on the website or by email. From there we can talk about your wishes, the type of ceremony you are looking for, and begin shaping something meaningful together.
